Established in 2018, it has maintained a significant presence in the competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) scene. The organization has also promoted initiatives, like "The Last Dance", contributing to the esports scene worldwide. In 2022, after the conclusion of its players' contracts, Imperial Esports signed with "The Last Dance", a team founded by Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo to unite esports veterans globally.

The Imperial Esports redesign project was a great chance to introduce a more modern, minimalist aesthetic that respects the team's history and anticipates the future of electronic sports. The primary sponsor of Imperial, which made "The Last Dance" project possible, was integrated into the design through its institutional green color palette. This color inclusion strengthens the connection between the organization and its sponsor, fostering a unified visual identity.
Designing the new symbol, a gladiator helmet crowned to express the "imperial" and "reign" concepts, was a rewarding part of the project. This simple symbol effectively communicates the strength, bravery, and nobility central to Imperial Esports' image.
With a minimalist approach, I could align with the current esports trend that favors simplicity over the complex logos and mascots of the 2010s. I'm convinced this cleaner design not only modernizes the brand but also enhances the value of both the organization and the broader field of electronic sports.
